World GEM report on women entrepreneurship

World GEM consortium published report on women entrepreneurship, based on the data collected within regular GEM reporting, translated in 2010 in 59 countries, members of GEM project.
One of the countries that participated in the research was Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the research was conducted by the Centre for development of entrepreneurship in BiH, that possesses GEM licence for BiH, and that since 2008 implements project Global entrepreneurship monitor.
MI-BOSPO’s project Women's Business Network also took part in the GEM report on women entrepreneurship for 2010, as a relevant source of information on the position on women entrepreneurs in BiH.
One of the goals of this report is to identify differences between women and man entrepreneurs, what motivates women to start their own business, but also the way global economic crisis influenced entrepreneurial start-up and development.
